Oil Prices and Nukes
Traditionally oil prices are cheaper now, so were hoping to buy our next batch of oil around now (see Oil Price Data), but thanks to rumours about Bush thinking of nuking Iran, the oil companies are still managing to keep the prices up. (I wonder who started the rumours?)
The problems with Iran's nuclear programme have been going on longer than April, but since the recent rumours the price has taken a jump. Bush nuking Iran, give me a break! (Interestingly Bush has announced that he is setting up a commission to examine if prices are being artificially held high through conspiracy.)
I guess oil prices are one of the thorns that has grown-up since the Fall. Thank the Lord for all the benefits that we have received due to oil! At least we only have to deal with financial burdens for a few years, before we go to be with the Lord and await the coming of a new age without burdens at the Resurrection.
