The Republic of Ireland has the Highest Crime Rate in Europe!
Contrary to all expectations, a recent study by Gallup has shown that the Republic has the highest crime rate in Europe, followed by the U.K.!

The statistic might be tied with the lower average age of people in the Republic of Ireland compared to the rapidly aging countries on the continent.
I confess that I don't know why.
Drug usage is certainly a problem in the cities of Dublin and Limerick.
